The audit team assessed the permanent-state design for the new shared paths associated with freeway adjustments. The path was walked and ridden to assess the existing conditions. Audit issues raised related to the following key themes:
- Path width
- User navigation
- Intersections
- Surfaces
- Signs
- Markings
- Hazards (abutting roads, dog-off-lead areas, abutting walls and fences, maintenance vehicles)
